At Advanced STD Testing & Treatment Clinic, we make treatment simple, fast, and confidential. Once you’ve received your test results, our licensed providers will guide you through your next steps, whether you’re positive, negative, or need follow-up testing.

Treatment Options by Condition:

Chlamydia & Gonorrhea

Usually treated with oral antibiotics or a one-time injection.

Trichomoniasis

Treated with a single-dose or short course of oral antibiotics.

Syphilis

Requires antibiotic injections, especially in early stages.

HIV (if positive)

Immediate referral to specialists for antiretroviral therapy (ART).

Hepatitis A, B, C

Supportive care or antiviral medications depending on the type.

Herpes (HSV-1 & HSV-2)

Antiviral prescriptions to reduce symptoms and transmission.

What Your Results Mean:

No evidence of infection at the time of testing.

The test detected signs of an infection. Our clinicians will guide you on treatment and next steps.

Sometimes additional testing is needed to confirm a result—this is normal and part of a thorough process.

If your results are positive, you’ll have a private consultation with one of our providers to discuss treatment options.
If your results are negative but you’re still experiencing symptoms or had a recent exposure, follow-up testing may be advised.

After treatment to confirm the infection is gone (usually 3 weeks to 3 months, depending on the STI)
Every 3–6 months if you’re sexually active with new or multiple partners
Immediately if you’ve had a new exposure or unprotected sex

Know your medical history or bring a list of medications
Avoid urinating 1 hour before a urine test
Do not use vaginal products or engage in sexual activity 24 hours before a pelvic swab
